Opportunities in Risk, Change and Cost Management in Construction

The Thames Tideway Tunnel will be a major new sewer to prevent the tens of millions of tonnes of untreated sewage which discharge into the tidal River Thames every year. It is one of the largest construction projects of its type in Europe. The project involves construction at 24 sites across London delivered by 3 separate joint venture companies and is 60% complete.
At this key stage in the project we are reorganising our resources to establish a new Programme Management Office team to monitor and report on the progress of the works against our target schedule and cost plans.
We are currently seeking applicants for the following roles:
A Cost Engineer to have oversight of all cost data, providing assurance that it is complete, accurate and collected in a timely manner. This role will assure compliance with the Tideway Cost Management plans across the programme and address any non-compliances. It supports the development, improvement and consistency of approach towards cost management systems and procedures to achieve robust forecasting and reliable, accurate and timely cost performance data across our 3 delivery areas.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of delivering high standard cost management functions within the construction or engineering industry. They will have experience in delivery and communication of cost management processes and procedures and sound knowledge of Change, Schedule and Risk Management processes and procedures and how these integrate with the Cost Function.
