The Thames Tideway Tunnel will be a major new sewer to prevent the tens of millions of tonnes of untreated sewage which discharge into the tidal River Thames every year. It is one of the largest construction projects of its type in Europe. The project involves construction at 24 sites across London delivered by 3 separate joint venture companies and is 60% complete.
At this key stage in the project we are reorganising our resources to establish a new Programme Management Office team to monitor and report on the progress of work against our target schedule and cost plans.
We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a Cost Engineer to join this team. The successful candidate will have oversight of all cost data, providing assurance for completion, accuracy and timely collation. Reporting to Cost and Change manager the Cost Engineer will work closely with the Delivery Area Cost Managers and Schedule and Risk Leads.
